Crypto & digital assets
AllowedTrading and payments allowed (crypto = financial assets), payments by agreement. Exchanges (CriptoLoja, Biarly etc.) register with CMVM (MiCAR from 2025). General EU rules apply for now. MiCAR crypto division (from 2025) introduces exchange licenses. Only AMLD5 for now. No VAT (2018 ruling).
